Our Leaps and Bounds Pre-K program uses Creative Curriculum, which follows the guidelines of the Pre-K Foundation for the Common Core for early childhood education. We follow the STEM model, which stands for science, technology, engineering, and math. We offer extracurricular activities such as art, music, computer science, story time, and gym class, all held in our common area outside of the classroom.
We take health and nutrition very seriously at Bright Beginnings. We offer three CACFP approved meals a day, breakfast, lunch and snack, which are cooked daily in our full service kitchen. All meals are included in the cost of tuition and are nutritional and balanced.Breakfast consists of three food components: bread or cereal, juice or fruit, and milk.Lunch consists of four food components: protein, fruit/vegetable, grain, and milk.Snack consists of two food components: milk or juice, fruit or grain.
My daughter, Anna, is a student in Miss Amanda’s classroom. When I signed her up at the end of August, we discussed the need to have her attend until November, stop through the winter months, due to my husband’s work schedule, and have her attend in the Spring. My husband and I are very happy with our decision to send Anna to your daycare. She has adjusted, FINALLY, and actually has made comments that she ‘LOVES SCHOOL” and misses her friends when she is not with them. Thank you so much for helping us with this difficult transition. I look forward to seeing you in the Spring. I will be in touch as April approaches as to when we will start sending Anna again. If you need anything else from me, please let me know. Thank you again!!
